I completed the firefighter team member training, where I developed essential skills in emergency response, first aid, and teamwork. This experience has also taught me how to operate in demanding situations, remain calm under pressure, and follow strict procedures to ensure the safety of both victims and responders. Being a volunteer firefighter strengthens qualities such as discipline, stress management, quick decision-making, and teamwork.
During the final year of my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BUT Informatique), I completed a work-study program at Extern SN as a DevOps Developer. During this experience, I worked on the development and maintenance of internal applications, while also contributing to process automation and infrastructure management. I contributed to several projects, including: - the development of an internal GDPR compliance and analysis tool, - the design of a company RAG system built with React and Python, - the creation of data extraction and analysis tools (emails, Microsoft Teams). I also worked on the maintenance of PHP applications and the administration and monitoring of a Kubernetes cluster, allowing me to strengthen my skills in DevOps, cloud technologies, and infrastructure automation.
Over a 10-week period, as part of the chemistry division at One R&D at Vallourec, I contributed to two machine learning projects. The first project focused on developing an application to calculate the thickness of the CLEANWELL® solution. Using IPSDK (Image Processing Software Development Kit), I trained a Random Forest model to segment images from microscopes. I then implemented a procedure to automatically extract five measurements in micrometers. This solution now enables Vallourec to obtain these five measurements from an image in less than 18 seconds. The second project I initiated involved measuring and classifying the rate of red rust. Using IPSDK, I developed a model capable of analyzing images and extracting the percentage of red rust.
I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BUT Informatique), specializing in Application Development: Design, Development and Validation. During this program, I developed strong skills in software development, automation, and IT engineering. In my final year, I completed a work-study program as a DevOps engineer, where I had the opportunity to apply my skills to real-world projects, while also learning new technologies and deepening my knowledge in cloud, infrastructure, and automation.
